Explanatory Notes:

1) Treaty on European Union /TEU/ (2007) (former Treaty of Maastricht, 1992, enters in force Jan. 01, 1993; birth date of the “European Union”; renaming the Treaty of Maastricht into Treaty on European Union is implemented by the Treaty of Lisbon, 2007, which enters into force 01.01.2009);
